Likew., except without ἐν, Lk 6:38 v.l. (Maximus Tyr. 27, 7b has a play on words μετρεῖ…μετρεῖται.—Philo, Rer. Div. Her. 229 μέτροις μεμέτρηται.—The pass.=‘receive as one’s portion’: Jos., Bell. 3, 185).—1 Cl 13:2 the saying reads ᾧ μέτρῳ μετρεῖτε, ἐν αὐτῷ μετρηθήσεται ὑμῖν.
